    1. Hi, I just came across of a very rare Set of Order Georgi Dimitrov given to a Polish Head of State What is also interesting The Order is numbered to match the number of the Awarding Document Also for the first time I can see detailed information of the materials We know that those late orders were made from 14 Carat Gold, however i have never seen a detailed information Also we know that only the first several hundred were numbered - the first 300 by a machine struck and the next Lot from 301 were hand written It is for first time an evidence that in late stages the orders were numbered if they were awarded to a very high ranking State people ,like in this case

    8. Hi Igor, Nice cross and very unusual one. As far as I know all officers at that period were made by J.G. Dutalis from 18 Carat Gold The knight crosses were made from silver with 18 carat gold central medallions. Leopold2.bmp
    9. Nice information. Yes it is a nice Set Price? Most Collectors prefer the models with French text only --made prior to 1951. Personally, I restructure my Belgium Collection few times and sold all my items made after 19 That mean this Set could anything around 1500+ EURO Nevertheless very nice Set Congrats

    11. Hi, I need a help for a site or source for identifying the the period of Swedish Order and the models associated . I had save a good site, however for some reason it is gone from my PC. I have those two Grand Crosses badges made of Gold, however both are not marked It look that they are made in the period/s when the hallmarking was optional I suspect, also that the Officer badge of the Order of the sword is from the same period Regards Graf
