A very nice badge Don.
I have been looking through my files as I thought I had some images saved but it was a 1st type and unnumbered. Still seems as though I should have some images saved somewhere.
Will keep my eyes open.

Don, you will always have my full support. I'm standing by to post to the lost sections of the Enamel & membership badge manufacturers database.
This P.O. & enamel badges forum is top notch due to your knowledge, enthusiasm and efforts.
Wish I had more to share. I will gladly share what I do have.
Regards, --dj--Joe
Not sure this will help, Jakob Grimminger, Schwäbisch Gmünd used a six pointed star for a maker mark. Drawings I have seen showed a "G" in the center of the star. Have seen the star mark before but do not recall on what.
It might give you a lead to investigate though.

I am not sure of the period for this piece. 1914-1925 or modern possibly.
It is for a Dachshund club. With no date I'll have to find out when the Hannover club was formed.
Either way, what is Hindenburg wearing? I have seen busts and pictures with a wide assortment of neck awards, singles, multiples. Can't pin it down. (Or is it artistic license)?

Thanks for looking and any thoughts.
