I need a little help;and the Imperial bug has bitten deep. But also still new at this!9 year service medal I got, this is the first time I have seen this.I did try to do my homework first.I searched here and other sites too no avail!Saw some pics but they were preoccupied with another medal. For any help saying they are good or bad would be appreciated. Mike thank you for the advice, but I know were to post.My point being the mm on the frame.Yes i know the TR EK2 is good but the marks aint.Found the pic I was looking for, here is what was on ebay.de awhile back. What I would like to see is some more examples of IMP EK2s with a maker on the frame.IMHO these mm are fake. I am a new collector, but not that new. This particular mark I saw on ebay.de a couple of months ago. This mark I have seen only 2 times on the ribbon ring from pics.motorhead has one of them. Not saying it is a anything at all,but here is a pic of a TR EK2 that sold on a dealers site awhile back for ?150.Is this real? Bundesrepublik 1957 cased Oak Leaves help
Scott P replied to Scott P's topic in Germany: Post 1945: Bundesrepublik & DDR
Hello Dave,He says they are concaved-curved.I didnt ask for more pics sorry. They are also marked 800.The case I really dont care about and the same thing with the ribbon.Of course it would be nice if they were good also.I just see a REAL set of oak leaves prices are out of this world!Something I could never afford. But a reality check please, would a 57 oak leaves sell as cheap as 80 or 95 euros?I see fake RKs that people buy that are quality examples for 500?.I dont think that anybody is bidding on them because they think they are fakes. Thanks for your patience and time. Scott P replied to Scott P's topic in Germany: Post 1945: Bundesrepublik & DDR
David, thanks for the answer!I did not ask for more pics because the auction had ended(not ebay)this guy only sells and has over 1176 sells with all positive feedback.Starting price was 80? and buy it now was 95?.But you seem to know, should I ask for more pics?He states not original pre 45.Also the auction ended but it is up for sale again! Thanks Scott -

EK 1914 A rare EK 2 1914 with zinc frame
Scott P replied to Solomon's topic in Germany: All Eras: The Iron Cross
Is that the one that was on ebay.de?The zinc part caught my eye,but the way the medal ring was attached sorta made me think.Your pics are much better then what was on ebay.Interesting catch! Scott -
D.R.G.M=Deutches Reichs Gebrauch Muster 645144 I have no idea what tht means. If I understand right the DRGM basically stands for a test sample? Scott

Newest one for the collection.Ribbons got a stamp on it,but doesnt show through on the otherside. The pin is at both sides of the band but does not spin(small tongue in the middle stops it. Thanks for looking Scott sorry if the pics are to big, gotta figure out how to downsize also [attachmentid=54960]
