    1. I agree, very nice contributions. Here are three Italian members of Gioventu Italiana del LIttorio (GIL) which was a Fascist youth organisation. They are standing on a railway platform in Croatia. The middle youth is wearing an Italian youth organisation fighting knife. Cheers, Larry
    2. Very nice U-Boots und Bergungstaucher trade patch with original packet. Martin, that is a very nice Schiffstaucher patch in wear. He is also wearing a Zimmermann (Ship's Carpenter) trade patch as well. Nice combination. Cheers, Larry
    3. Infantry Regiment 19, Poland, 1939. Cheers, Larry Confiscated Wanderer motorcar in use by a Luftwaffe unit, Northern France.

    5. Hi Dan, Thank you for the nice comments. I have never tried to colour WW1 photos. 95% of photos I colour come from my own collection which is WW2 related. However, I do colour photos for other people and for books so a WW1 uniform colour reference would be much appreciated. Cheers, Larry
    6. Another from my KM collection. Cheers, Larry
    7. Thanks, I wasn't sure about that one. Was a ww2 era circular diver's patch ever produced? Three more from my collection. Cheers, Larry
    8. Time to kick start this interesting thread. Here is a collection of trade insignia I have collected over the last year. A long way to go but a very enjoyable pastime. Cheers, :Larry
    9. Here is another one I did recently.
    10. Fleet Badge in wear. From a Kreuzer Prinz Eugen photo lot. Interestingly the green cross above the head of the last man denotes he was KIA. At least two sites mention a single death on the Prinz Eugen during Operation Cerberus. Writing on the back of the photo shows the date of death and where he died. This date exactly matches the date of Operation Cerebus. This must be our man. See these sites: http://www.scharnhorst-class.dk/scharnhorst/history/scharncerberus.html http://ww2db.com/ship_spec.php?ship_id=90 Cheers, Larry
    11. Not a KM award as such but a lot of KM personnel were awarded the Spanish Cross for service in the Spanish Civil War. This example is with swords and is the bronze type. Cheers, Larry
    12. Excellent photo. Nice to see FP cyphers on shoulder boards. Here is a LW ceremony photo with bayonets and swords. Cheers, Larry
    13. Wonderful work, thanks for sharing it with us. Cheers, Larry
    14. Famous "bride" signpost which was situated at Schapki, Wolchow. From a 20 Inf. Division album. There are no known colour photos of this sign but here is my take on it.
    15. I agree with Alex. Nice attempt. the flesh colours are very good. Here is a colourisation of a SdKfz 263 of A.A.1 which was destroyed at Alast, Belguim, 1940. Cheers, Larry
