    1. Guy, Got this off a pal, I was with him in Hannover when he bought it but it is not his bag! It is nicely made but my photography skills are lacking. It may be pre war, pre TR, it is 800 marked and the emblem is gold plate I think!
    2. Guys, I got quite excited when a pal told me a friend at work had an above described badge and it was in the family etc, etc, etc. He is a good lad so I will let him down gentley! The box is laughable and even the staple is a picture as opposed to metal. I don't know why they have cut the grass so to speak but it is quite obvious in the hand. Oh well!
    3. John, I will continue to rake through the recently departed folks belongings in the hope of saving some history. Family seem less interested in these sort of things these days. I wonder what the future holds, will people be able to buy your internet logs when you pass?
    4. What a nice item! Did not know they existed! Cheers
    5. The whole lot are impresive. I remain envious of your talent and a little afraid. I am sure there are equally talented criminals out there somewhere. I am glad you are a good guy!
    6. Do the catolouges show any good detail of the copies, it would be good to see for reference if they do?
    7. Glad its of interest. The reverse of the Press shot of the parade states General Müller? Looks like he served WW2 judging by the ribbon bar.
    8. Guys, A few bits and bobs from a former border guard. Not keen on the swimwear, note the cheeky shot of the DDR pair on patrol. This could almost be a WW2 album at first glance, very similar in content!
    9. Guys, Found this quite interesting, condition is poor but it is complete. The kids really never had a chance right from the off! Note the school address and the contraversial poem.
    10. Kevin, I like the ausweis, but only a black wound?
    11. Could it be RAD looking at the lack of waffenfarbe on the boards?
    12. No, it is mostly WW2 Feldpost to IR277.
    13. Guys, Would not normaly pick this up as they are heavy and I have enough of them but this has a nice Decal on the front, it is not a sticker but similar to the WW2 era helmet decals if that makes sense?
    14. From the stamp database, Tagesstempel 28.4.1940-14.9.1940 Luftwaffen-Bau-Kompanie 61/VI, dann 1. Kompanie Luftwaffen-Bau-Bataillon 6/VI, Typ: K1 (Einkreis Rundstempel) / Form: KreisstempelVerwendungszeit: 28.4.1940 bis 21.5.1945
    15. Guys, This is amongst a box full of paper from one family, looks to be 3 brothers with war service and the family was split as there is an East German conection too! Still sorting through the paperwork.
    16. Guys, I haven't looked it up yet but I have no reason to doubt it. It is likely Luftwaffe TBC.
    17. Guys, Quite normal to find these with either Eagle but not with a Weimar Eagle as late as 37? Just not normal but there it is!
    18. Guys, I have something similar and it is always a talking point but I got this at the weekend for peanuts so here it is! Any thoughts? A couple more pics!!!
    19. Andreas, Anything similar or whatever catches my eye.
    20. Thanks for the info! I suppose that fits the dates well.
    21. I don't know what that is, I don't really collect the first war stuff, I only take it if it looks interesting, is cheap or is part of a job lot. This was cheap and thrown in on a deal. Glad it is of interest. The only thing I noted was he got EK2 didn't see anything else?
    22. Thankyou very much for the links, very interesting! Sorry for the late reply but I have been night shift for the last 3 days so I have been sorting and posting rather than replying. Thanks again
