    1. Guys, I was given this as a copy which I also assumed it was as I can see no connection from the RZM der NSDAP to the Weimar Army? I have noted on other fora that this is considered to be original? Any thoughts? Cheers Jock
    2. Chip, Always up for a swap if you have anything interesting Third Reich wise in the SB, Urkunde or WP area? Jock
    3. Guys, Looks like it was used to scribble a note on, perhaps post war? Jock
    4. Guys, Straight out of the skip today along with a bit of Wehrmacht stuff. There is a trace of grey paint on the metal fitings on the case. The leather is dated and maker marked as is the flute or pfife if that is what it is called? What clown throws this in the bin? Jock
    5. Guys, As ex artillery I always find this sort of picture interesting. Jock
    6. Peter, My bins are overflowing as a result of our draw down here in Germany. You would be surprised at the amount of buckshee kit getting skipped. I am picking a lot up at our local recycle centres as this is the best way since the Army can not touch you for buying it there. There is 70 years worth of attic space and out of the way cellars etc that are now being emptied to hand back to the Germans. One mans rubbish etc, etc! Jock
    7. Odulf, Not corrected but informed, thanks again for the info. I just don't like it when things are in the wrong place either, OCD? The other bloke looks to have a badge on his left arm just above the rank rings, is that in keeping with your thoughts, I have seen in passing some refernce to various career structure badges but in this shot it would be impossible to tell. Thanks again Jock
    8. Guys, This came out of the skip and we have 9/12 Lancers here in Bergen. I don't think it is from the 'Three Quarters' but may be from their history perhaps a previous amalgamation? It is modern construction, fiber glass body and the horrible staybright shield. Held together with 'bluetac' at the corners. Not my bag but couldn't see it binned. May be useful for spare parts? Jock
    9. Martin, As requested. Odulf, I am sure it has been discussed but as this is not my main effort I thought I would share it as an oddity (to me anyway)? I take what ever I can find where ever I find it and share it if there is any interest. I don't sadly have enough time to chase down every item although I would love to do that, if I win the lottery I will! Thanks for the info though. Any Moderator, help please? Perhaps it can be moved to the appropriate thread, so as not to intrude on this thread? Thanks Jock
    10. Martin, Will do but as you see it is a bit dodgey exactly where you want clarity. Jock
    11. Guys, You see bundles of these for sale unused mostly, this is my first used one! Jock
    12. Guys, From the weekend, not a fancy unit but I liked the design of the document. Jock
    13. Guys, The spread looks quite nice, the old boy is perhaps important, being directed at the camera? Jock
