    1. Guys, An officer, Celle area, any ideas, perhaps went on to better things. first name Karl can't really make anything else out except the date 24 apr 34. Cheers Jock:)
    2. Guys, This was all together today, I am unclear if it is one family or not, all provenace lost as it was in with scrap silver. Kind of like the patriotic pins. The EK 1914 appears to be stamped with a 6/9 or a G (see microsope pic). The 39 is unmarked the luftschutz is ring stamped 60. Jock:)
    3. Could it be an 'enhanced' NSKK type of hat as the cut reminds me of that sort of hat? Jock:)
    4. Muckeroon, What did you decide in the end? I have had a look now in Uniforms and trads of Ge army and it only further re-enforces my thoughts that the eagle is from a vehicle penant? What are your thoughts? Jock:)
    5. I am no expert but just happen to know this one. Jock:)
    6. Mate, It is an East German and hence post war German Firemans Fibre helmet, I have a couple that I can post pics of for you if you wish? Save your money! Happy New Year. Jock:)
    7. Yes it is deactivated. Jock:)
    8. If anyone wants to swap let me know, WW2 Wehrpass, Soldbuch and Urkunde considered. Mainland Europe only, delivery possible for Fr, B, D and NL. Jock:)
    9. Which one is it, can't be the brass hilted one that looks like a sword? Had a google but didn't find a picture of one.
    10. Chris, MA S 1916.
    11. Guys, French Rifle as stated above. Only dropped once and never fired (joke!). Not my thing but it was cheap. Jock:)
    12. This was on ebay until last night since I had a bit of a search around and turfed this up on Axis forum: Can't link??? He may well have been an SS doctor that was tried at the post war French trails for war criminals (Natzweiler 2). He is metioned as tried in absentia and sentenced to death, I will try and find out if it is the same guy, I know he was a doctor for sure looking through all of his postwar paperwork. It seems he may not have been a nice person. Jock:)
    13. Mervyn, Thank you for the prize. All the best! Auf wiedersehen. Jock:)
    14. Paul, Please forward contact details and I will pass them on to him (Klaus), I am unsure what his area was, I just saw admin and it never went past that in conversation other than he was killed in Russia, one of those awkward moments when you don't press any further. Best Regards Jock:)
    15. Guys, These are up for swap if anyone has an interest? http://gmic.co.uk/index.php/topic/60510-mit-der-18-res-div-in-france-rir-31-fao-glen-j/ Not my bag, anything TR considered, nothing fancy, just original will do. Jock:)
    16. By the title, nothing! I think I have one of these but sadly the lower not very interesting end of the scale according to a contact on WAF. Jock:)
    17. Can I just add that my comments pertain to the UK not Canada, I have no idea how you look after your guys/girls. Jock:)
    18. That is interesting as the Kyffhauser I just put up on the appropriate thread (eventually) was with this group of stuff, so were the shoulder boards (also posted) that appear unidentified, maybe these shoulder boards are something to do with a veterans association? Maybe i need to post it all together to decipher its origin? Thanks Jock:)
    19. Good on you mate! I hope you were not too much over what you thought! Nice to have the support from the 'long haired 0A'! Jock:)
    20. Mike, As usual I have gone about things the wrong way, since this is not my bag I just compared it to some of the similar listed items with same bars, while I appreciate evreyones input the price has been adjusted downward to €75 with me picking up the postage, it is not for my gain but for a good cause in that it would go to Rick NOK fund, I fear I have missed the boat on that but you never know? I think given all of the information now €75 is a good price, preferably for a young/new collector in this field? if some-one out there thinks I am way off then tell me and I will adjust further but that won't help Ricks relatives. Jock:)
    21. You are quite correct, there is a very feint 1899 and below that 1900, how odd? Cheers Jock:)
    22. Claudio, I can't see the faker wnting to try and copy that one! Jock:)
    23. How dose that clasp work? have you picture of it in the open position? Cheers Jock:)
    24. Guys, I posted this in the wrong place! Having read the whole thread now this is the one before NS changed it. Jock:)
