    1. I'm a big fan of Dutch awars. A Lot of Dutch awards where given to German persons because of the close relationships between the various states and monarchs. Does anyone have photo's of medalbars with Dutch awards? I will show a few I found online: EK II. Klasse, 1914 K?niglicher Hausorden von Hohenzollern, Ridder met zwaarden Roter Adler Orden 4.     2. Jozsef Foherczeg was a Hungarian Prince or General I believe... The named a ship after him according to google.

    4. Good question! Ofcourse it is impossible to replace such an item. I'm still looking at different options to insure my collection..
    5. I have a medal group with a German medal in it. I would like to insure my medals. What would be a fair assessment for this group? Netherlands - remembrance medal 1926 - awarded 775 times - with document Waldeck-Pyrmont - silver medal of merit - with document - with document Luxembourg - silver medal in the civil and military merit order Belgium - bronze medal for foreign servants - - with document Included in the group is a photo of the recipient, a lackey at the dutch court.

    12. In 1996 Sotheby's sold the Dickin medal to the dog Ricky. Does anyone have a catalogue from that time? I'm looking for images of the group!

    21. Hi Arthur, thanks for your reply. I do think that the first is the Royal Victorian Order. Inside the rosette you can see the real color. The rosettes are added by the Dutch firm van Wielick. They do this with every foreign order Officers class. The have ribbons made specialy for themselfs. A few of the Dutch Ribbons are very discolered by the sun. I think that this is also the case with the RVO. There is a Dutch Royal jubilie medal in the row. So i'm thinking adjudant to the Queen during some state visites... I know of a few other RVO's awarded bye the Queen in Holland.
