    1. Hi Eric. i agree with Darrel, thats not an original. Maybe i should add, the copies of the Partisan Medal are damned good sometimes.. Gerd
    2. ...but then again... how can you be quiet in a plane with a roaring 750 horse power engine?
    3. Fran?ois, that seems to be a Heinkel HE 45 Reconnaissance and Trainer plane and one could interprete the emblem: Mickey says: "Be quiet!" Makes sense? Gerd
    4. I have never seen a Yemen Hero and i don?t remember, having seen a Hungarian Hero as well. Anyone has pictures?
    5. Thanks, guys. I?ll give it a try, when he has something interesting. Gerd
    6. Hi everyone, i have emails from an individual named Bronius Juozaitis in my mailbox lately and would like to ask, if anyone knows this guy and has made business with him? He is from Lithuania obviously from his email-adress. Thanks in advance best regards, Gerd
    7. Hi Belaruski, i think, its not a good one. The collar of Ushakov is wrong and the "A" and "D" of Admiral is off. The "A" is slightly smaller than on originals and the two "legs" of the "D" are a little bit too short. I also see some details in Ushakov?s hair, which are different than on originals and Ushakov doesn?t seem to have pupils on your Medal. Then the number is too deeply stamped IMO. All in all, thats enough for me to say, this is not a good one. You will probably not be surprised. Lets see, what the other have to say... Gerd
    8. Thats a beautiful little group, WC . I really hope to find an nice WW II military award to a woman for my collection too. These are hard to find...
    9. I look forward to the BK section. If you and Andrew need more suggestions, i?ll post my wish-list
    10. ...and one could already speculate from this photo, that this is for a damn good reason I think, i have seen more fakes of suspended OPW?s than real ones I hope, the OPW section of the english MONDVOR website will be finished soon (hint, hint)
    11. Whats the badge on the lower right in Sokolovskii display? Red arms, white center...
    12. I have a question to the Knights crosses of the Order of the Z?hringer L?we. Nimmergut lists the 1st class and the 2nd class of the Knights cross with swords on the ring. Now, i know, that swords on the ring on prussian orders means, the wearer had the lower class of this order with swords, but that wouldn?t make sense for the Z?hringer L?we. So, what does the swords on the ring signify on the OZL?
    13. USAF, you need MUCH better pictures of the order, especially of the ring on top of the order and a clear picture of the obverse and a closeup of the white enameled ring, if possible. I am not good enough with these to give you an opinion, but i guess, other member will be able to comment. Gerd
    14. Doc, i have this Long Service ORB to Lieutenant Colonel Valentin Alexeevich Filenius, Commander of Evacuation Hospital 325 in Irkutsk during the war. 15. Looks great, Doc. How about a Campaign and a Victory over Germany Medal additionally to the Bravery Medal or instead of it? Would look nice, i think... Just a thought...
    16. ahhh, Ed collects nazeeeee awards Did you get if for free or were you forced to take it?
