    1. Thanks, Rick. I didn?t know, that it was allowed to wear all classes. Did i got that right, in post #18 that is a Hohenzollern Ehrenkreuz with Swords and Crown? Or is it the Merit Cross with Swords and Crown? Gerd
    2. Thats a nice set, Ralph. The mini goes along very well with their bigger brothers. best, Gerd
    3. Awesome Ribbon bars, guys. jumping jumping jumping Rick, the first picture last ribbon bar, what does the double Schwarzburg-Ribbon signify? And on the second picture second bar is that a 1st class spange on the EK-ribbon or just an oversized 2nd class spange? Still LOVE the little Knights-cross
    4. Capture-Medals Complete :food-smiley-004: You should look on ebay for the fitting documents.
    5. Ahhhh, the package arrived Are you happy with your new purchases, Darrel? Very nice addtitions. I still need all of them jumping
    6. I hardly believe, i see these twice, when this is the first for you. I probably mix it up with another Long Service cross. Btw, Nimmergut 2003/2004 lists the Medal (Order of the Bavarian Crown) with two versions : Silver, Stempelschneider "Losch F" 380 Dollar/Euro Silver, Stempleschneider "Losch" 1250 Dollar/Euro and the Police Long Service Cross with 200 Dollar/Euro. Indeed strange. Gerd
    7. Hi Dan, here is a picture, i had in my files. This is an Original. best, Gerd
    8. Hi everyone, i got these three sets of shoulderboards as a gift from a good friend of mine and i have searched the web for their meaning, but didn?t find anything. What are these for? all the best, Gerd
    9. I think so, Bob. At least thats my impression. The Medal of the Bavarian Crown was the first, i have ever seen. But the police-Long Service i have maybe seen twice in 4 years. best, Gerd
    10. Oh, ok, but it isn?t rarer than the mentioned medals. Thats probably, what confused me. Thats a great bar, Bob. Never give it away best, Gerd
    11. Well, these are the results. I guess this awards compare to the Prussian War Merit Cross: Baden-Kriegsverdienstkreuz Saxon-Weimar-Honorcross for Homelandmerits (?) Saxon-Coburg-Gotha-Honorbadge(-medal) for homelandmerits Gerd
    12. Yeah, i have asked myself the same lately. But i guess, the most states had a Merit-Medal , that filled that role. Let me take a look in my Nimmergut.... back in a few minutes.... Gerd
    13. Hi Gordon, thanks for correction and info. I don?t recall, that i have ever seen one of the higher grades on medalbars. I would love to see a photo. Grd
    14. These are really beautiful awards, Gordon. Here is a medalbar, which i found on a dealers site with a Order of the Rising Sun 6th class.
    15. After seeing Mike?s example, i am much more confident, that its a good one. NIce badge, Mike. Gerd
    16. Yes, i am also unsure now. I would like to see a sideshot to be sure. Here is a comparison of Don?s badge with one of Rick?s examples:
    17. Well, i see a very uneven back on that badge, but like Rick said, it could be the scan. Can you make a sideshot of the badge with a bit more light? Though, Catch, Pin and hinge are different to the examples from Rick. But thats also possible, like we know from other badges. best, Gerd
