Paul, The awards rolls of the RE3X have been lost with the end of the WW2 so we will probably never know the awards number of each medals and orders of Reuss. So it will be very difficult to trace one medal bar. Only if the officers is present in the Ranglisten before the WW1 and only if he survived the war in was in the Reichsheer. In the 1925 Ranglisten I have found only 54 officers who received orders from Reuss, maybe I have forgotten one or two but that's all. Regards Christophe

The last one. Like youcan see, I begin with ribbon bar for NCO or enlisted men (the swords are not in silver or in gold), the second is, I think, for one officer (swords are in silver) and the last one is for the Reuss Ehrenkreuz 3. Kl. with X and crown. Hava a look. Thanks to Rick R who ID this beauty. Regards Christophe

And what about the ribbon bar with BV3 (Baden Karl Friedrich Verdienst Orden). One of my 2 ribbon bars with this order. I have received last week the second one from the same officer. As soonas I have another scan I will take photos and post them. I will give the short history of this officer at the same time. Regards Christophe

Hi, Have you looked in the Ehrard Roth's book ? May be the clue is the HHO3X (Hohenzollern knight cross with X), The BMVO4bX (Bavarian Military merit order 4th class with X), and the SA3X (Saxon Albert Order but I don't know the class, second or first). For your info BMVO4bX : 24141 SA3aX : 3905 SA3bX : 11267 HHO3X : 8291 The work wil be very hard. But you have got a very nice ribbon bar, sorry for you that the device is missinig. Regards Christophe
