    3. Hi Chris, We keep our eyes open. Can you tell us where it come from (the Country) Christophe
    4. His name : Rittmeister Kurt Kloetzer from Flieger Abteilung 11. He wore the uniform of his prewar unit : Ulanen Regiment Nr. 18. He received the cross 4th class of Crown Order of Prussia the 29 November 1913. That's all he had before the war. I have found nothing about the knight cross with swords of House of Hohenzollern. For the moment I have found 174 saxon officers who received the HHO3X but no Kloetzer on my list. Furthermore I have found no crown to add to his knight cross 1st class with X of Albert Order of Saxe. This is probably a postwar award, it's the only explanation. Thanks for your help Christophe
    5. Hi everybody, Here is a close up of one medal bar, I would like to have your comments on the 4th ribbon please. After looking with great attention, I think this medal is the cross 4th class of Crown order of Prussia. Thanks Christophe
    6. The last question, does someone have more informations about Hauptmann Malortie please ? Thanks a lot Christophe
    7. Hi everybody, Yesterday I have received the photo in question. I've take several photos to see clearly shoulderboards etc. This is well a captain ( I have found two stars on shoulderboards). Sascha has definitively very good eyes, indeed the Wurttemberg Friedrich Order is well a first class with swords. So our man can't be von Schulenburg. So Alex has probably right too about Malortie. The good point is we have found two medals to add to Malortie : Brunswick and Austrian medals. Here is the photo. Christophe
    8. Hi everybody, It's an old topic I know but it's interresting to make this one alive. Another perfect match : Oberstleutnant von Heygendorff
    9. Hi Christer For Weber, Paul and Keil, the knight cross of St Henry of Saxe were awarded 2749 times. Christophe

    11. Hi Dave, Thanks for the additional informations, much appreciate. I spoke to Daniel and he told me that he should received the Ernestine and the Hamburg cross after the war like you think.
