Hi everybody, Today I have received this very nice ribbon bar to add to my Saxon collection (Thanks a lot P C.). The combo is unusual. But after doing some research I found only one man who received the exact match : SH3 : knight cross of St Henry of Saxe SA3aX : knight cross 1st class with X of Albert of Saxe EK2 : iron cross 2nd class WK3X : knight cross with X of Order of the Crown of Wurttemberg This bar is a pure wartime ribbon bar. No peace ribbons, no long service, only wartime ribbon bar. The name of our man is : Oberstleutnant Alfred Heygendorff (1868-1916) and commander of RIR Nr. 245. I have the photo of Heygendorff showing this exact ribbon bar. That's why it is so familiar to me. Have a look Christophe

Hi, For me there is no problem with this bar and the fact that one Prussian could received the SH3. Some Aces received the SH3 and were not Saxon : Richthofen, Bonhnstedt, Berthold ... For the second and third name, it is easy to receive it like thy served in a Saxon unit. For Richthofen, his popularity made the rest. Do you know if someone here has this bar, just for my curiosity. Hi, She's back. Not only arrogant, but ignorant. I hate those kind of people. She wants to know how many crosses were awarded to make more profit. "Q: I checked your reference, and it indicates FOUR TO FLIERS, not just 4 swarded Mar-24-10 A: read it again knights cross with CROWN AND SWORDS, I have searched wikipedia and alot of other sources , I have yet to see one picture of this medal that contains all these elements, swords, crown, and wreath, and on some of the wreaths they have different colored enamels dots, these are blue , I have found different versions but never seen another one like this listed anywhere,i was quoting a military sight , not stating I know the true numbers nor do alot of people that actually are well versed on medals they all have conflicting numbers on this one, the medal is rare , its a buyers call.IF YOU HAVE INFORMATION SHARE IT." Very impressive I have ask her one question, we will see the answer Christophe

hello, if she is a real professional person, we have to send her some german's auction link (like thies and HH) and she will probably open her eyes about the incredible and irrealistic price she wants. Even if I have such money in my count I will NEVER pay such price for a medal bar, never. If she wants to sell medals separatly, do it. But I'm not sure that one day she will have such price at the end. If only we can boycott her That's life Christophe
