    1. Hi, Here is a photo of officers of the Jäger Btn Nr. 12 in St Souplet in september 1914. Like he was in this unit at this time, he should probably be here. Now have a look and you have to find him. Christophe
    2. Hi Thanks for your words. After doing little research, I have found one name for the moment : Dr Rudolf Langenhahn, SA from FAR 32. That's all I have. Christophe
    3. Hi everybody, Here is my new baby ! The combo is very interresting. Indeed this officer received the SA3aXKr and the OFA2 with claps. The EK device is very big for the ribbon bar, but I like it a lot. Christophe
    4. Thanks all for your comments. For the moment, after doing research through historic unit, I have found that two officers received cross from Bremen. One in the IR 104 and the other in the IR 107. But the problem is there is no name, only statistic Does someone have the Bremen rolls ? Christophe
    5. Hi everybody, Here is one nice saxon officer ribbon bar. Last year I have bought same one but with SH3 ribbon more. One has been bought in States and the others in Germany. It is possible that the two ribbon bars came from same man, not sure, but look at the back ! Christophe
    6. Hi Alexandre, It is possible for you to show some of your research please ? It will be nice to share these with us thanks !!! Christophe
    7. Hi everybody, This morning I have received the photo of Generalleutnant Meister showing his Pour le Mérite and the commander cross of St Henry. Christophe
    8. Hi Claudius, You are right on one point, there is a small EK device and no it is not for the EK1. It was a fashion only. I put new image of Meischner
    9. Hi Alexandre, It is possible for you to show your research please ? Christophe
    10. Claudius, Saxon officers who received higher grade of one order like SV or SA should return the old orders. I have a perfect example. Oberstleutnant Hans Meischner, he received the SA3a in 1896 and the SV3a in 1905. He received during the war the SAOX and he has never received swords to his SV3a. he returned the SA3a and wore only the officer cross with X. I still think, and it's my personnal opinion, that there is problem with this bar. Not only by missing swords but something special disturbs me. I have a bad feeling on it. I agree with Sascha, the back is good ! Christophe
    11. Hi Matthias, There is no suspicion about Schwarzburg and Reuß combo ! I have a photo in my collection of one officer showing only iron cross and both orders. Till the Reuß rolls has not been found we can't be affirmatif about the name. I have some name but no Sommer in my list. Christophe
    12. Hi, the third medal is : "Erinnerungsmedaille an den erstrittenen Thronanspruch 1905" Christophe
    13. Hi, Not so easy at all. The time I used to have this bar in my hands, I have spoken to Rick L to know if he has some target to id this bar. After working and searching through Lippe House orders rolls and Lippe-Detmold law-suit medal 1905, we find only one name. So it is him, probably. But till we do find anyone else after reading all the 176 owner of the Lippe-Detmold law-suit medal 1905 medal, we can't be sure. A typical Lippe officer wartime ribbon bar. No others medals from Prussia or other Country. We need a man who have to go to Lippe Archive and read all the personnal files :anmatcat: Christophe
    14. Many thanks Christer, this officer wore proudly his medal bar Christophe

Christophe
    16. Hi , Agreed with Les and Komtur, the pour le mérite document is not genuine. I have just read the Previtera's book and it is completely different. Christophe
