    1. Awesome! I was born too late (1982) to read these the first time round, but i can remember rifling through my older brother's belongings to pinch his copies of Warlord in the late 80s! Great post Leigh Dan

    5. The question is who would bid on it?? I am fairly new to TR and have to ask a lot of questions and tend o get my thoughts on items backed up by more experienced collectors, but anyone bidding on an abhoration like that has more money than sense!
    6. This is selling on ebay, and for good money too! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/German-WW2-Medal-Bar-Knights-Cross_W0QQitemZ230398766714QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Collectables_Militaria_LE?hash=item35a4d62e7a I didnt know whether to point and laugh or run away!

    9. Here we are - Badge of the Territorial 5/6 Bn Staffordshire Regiment. phew! I have always been interested in where the Staffs knot came from. Does anyone know? Dan
    10. I think that the knotted one is the North Staffs Regiment, rather than a divisional or brigade badge. I have something similar knocking around here somewhere... The bottom right badge i am inclined to agree with Leigh...Im not so sure that it is military.... Dan
    11. Hey would it be possible to lightly trace it onto paper, go over the tracing in pen and then photograph the paper.....?
    12. Great post Leigh, thanks. There was an excellent article in Medal News about the evolution of the dorsets badges. It was probably about 4 years ago, and i cant lay my hands on the copy just now Dan
    13. Hi Matt Yup they are magnetic and the ek is of 3 part construction. This is actually my first EK Could anyone recommend a good reference book on them? Thanks Dan
    14. Hi Thanks for all the replys. I think its fair to say that the group has been out together at some time. From the looks of it all the medals are genuine (fingers crossed). Can anyone give an opinion on them? Thanks, Dan
    15. Hi Matt The group did come with a 4 year award also, but the previous owner was unsure if they were all to the same recipient. Here it is Thanks Dan
    16. Morning chaps A collecting friend of mine picked this up recently and asked my thoughts. It is obviously some sort of police medal, but that is as far as my limited knowledge can get me. it is of 3 piece construction and is not maker marked. My feelings arent good for it, but does anyone have an idea of what it is supposed to be? Thanks Dan
