Detail. Just like everything else there is a certain symmetry to be found in German stuff, even if it looks crappy it could very well be original. This piece is just too sloppy when compared to an original.
When I lived in Germany I befriended two HG vets and they say they never saw these awards. Both had earned the Luftwaffe close combat clasp but were awarded the Heer/SS version.
Nice boards. The example on the right is for the M44 jacket, as evident by the two vertical stitch lines on the obverse and artificial silk strip on the reverse.
It should say GH Osang. I cannot render a concrete opinion based on these two very blurry pics but so far there are no red flags. Better pics are critical.
Gents, I have not handled a tunic of this material before so I cannot comment on its originality. However, I think the boards are bad and that unit stamp is very unconvincing. Can you take a pic of the reverse of the breast eagle? This is actually a shirt eagle but admittedly, some tunics were issued with them.
I don't want to take it off the torso form but it is LBA marked as well as stamped Peek & Cloppenburg Rotterdam. The gulls on the collar tabs have been added after the tabs were sewn down. Oh yes, the visor is possibly more rare than the Fliegerbluse but then again an unmonkeyed-with Fliegerbluse like this one is extremely difficult to find. The badge I have affixed to it is a para badge.
