    1. Here is a Mecklenburg-Strelitz Cross for Distinction in War 2nd class award, comments welcomed. This one has the Godet manufacturing 'G' marking on the ring.
    2. Thanks Bayern. My collection is a very small sample, there were many veterans associations that sprang up across the republic after WW1 with a variety of badges and medals, some with multiple clasps, just the Kyffhauser 1914-1918 War Veterans Commemorative Medal alone has about 76 official clasps.
    3. Lastly the German Imperial Naval Corps Flanders Cross with 4 battle clasps:
    4. Thank you BalkanCollector for your comments. This next one is a Field Honour Badge and a stickpin:
    5. Thanks again BlackcowboyBS for your comments. The Champagne Cross:
    6. BlackcowboyBS, thanks for the feedback. Yes most are from veterans associations during the days of the republic. My next installment, the Commemorative Medal of the German Legion of Honour:
    7. And the Kyffhauser 1914-1918 War Veterans Commemorative Medal with a 'WESTFRONT' clasp:
    8. I have a few items from the Weimar Republic I thought I might share, I hope you enjoy them: Starting with the Eastern Front Cross: Next is the Prussian war memorial cross 1914-18 for fighters:
    9. Nice picture. Reminds me of the first battle of Bull Run during the American Civil War, when the civvies turned up from Washington D.C. to supposedly see a Union victory!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    10. Not 100% sure but he looks a little like FML Johann Ulrich von Salis-Seewis. https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johann_Ulrich_von_Salis-Seewis
    11. Glad to hear all children and animals like you!!! Great story and piece of history, thanks for sharing.
    12. Not sure why this picture in is a 100 books but it is not the commonly used picture of Hitler(even though it is the same location). I do not believe Hitler is actually in the picture. The picture below is the picture usually used to show Hitler at this location:
    13. Christophe, Thanks again. Beautiful case. My case's catch/button system is slightly different to yours, so I am not quite sure whether it is ok or not.
    14. Christophe, Thanks. The case's catch/button looks a little different from the first one shown in this thread so I was not entirely sure. I know both Zimmermann and AWS made these crosses, I was unsure whether they made all the cases as well and whether this one was one of them.
    15. Happy Christmas to all. At least with the locusts there is some payback(if that's your thing): https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/food/article-2883381/Insect-lover-ditches-turkey-creepy-crawly-Christmas-feast.html
    16. A great find indeed. Any chance of a close up picture of the 'silber' marking?
