    1. Here is all of it. Also, the name on the badge.
    2. I thought the Ost front was a bit odd also. I'll post a photo of everything I purchased. There is a small pin for the Destroyer badge and the Narvik shield. The bars are sew on style and have a light grey backing in the style of Godet. I guess this could be a mixed grouping out of a family or just some stuff a GI picked up and I'm trying to make it a grouping. I am just trying to confirm the grouping suspicion so that I can keep the pieces together if that is how they belong. If not I will put them into my collection in several different cases as per my display organization, Thanks for your help so far! It is truly appreciated.
    3. This is part of a Naval grouping. The name is scratched into the back of one of the badges. I found the first name by searching online. Seems he sailed into the 1960's. I thought he may be easy to find as he has the 25 year LS. I am assuming that this a grouping and I must mention that. It all comes from one source and there was nothing that did not fit like a Luft badge or something that is clearly not associated.
    4. This cross is one of those pieces that I just had to buy. I was talking to a vendor at a show and this was on his table. It caught my attention and when I looked at it closely it spoke to me. This cross has the most wear of any EK1 I have. The wear to the pin is what makes me like this piece. Someone wore this cross for a long time to get it this highly worn.
    5. I am looking to see if this ribbon bar can be confirmed as belonging to a man named von Rudgisch. His first name may be Dieter. Any details would be greatly appreciated.
    6. Looks like it is trying to be an S&L micro 800. I am not knowledgeable on RKs. Read the thread on GMIC "The Great RK Debate" . It has good information and great photos for you to compare your cross to. Good luck! It could be a nice find.
    7. I watched this bar and considered bidding but stopped for two reasons. First, as Cladio mentioned, the front does not look like a Godet bar. It struck me as odd. From the few photos I could find the Jerusalem cross is either good or a great copy. Too few of these around for me to be sure. The second thing that stopped me was that as I have watched this collection get sold off there were a number of reproduction medals. It may be that there just were not many references available when this collection was built up. I know there were bad pieces in there, as I am sure there are probably in mine, and that gives me extra pause in bidding on pieces from that collection. I did notice the coloring of the Anhalt medal but to my eyes it looks like old metal polish that was left on the medal. There is some on the back of the Saxon piece also. Overall, I am not sure about bar so I stayed out of the bidding. If good it is an outstanding gem for someone's collection.
    8. This looks to have the 1957 period type pin on it. Not an awarded piece.
    9. I'd be happy to add those to my collection at those prices. Good show!
    10. Dean, I did find one at the Akron show not Berea. I always thought it was funny having an RC aircraft field directly behind a gun show. Just seemed like AA fire was an eventuality. One of the two in my thread is the one I found there. If memory serves it was the one that doesn't match yours. I dug up a few nice things there.
    11. Ok. Having a little tech issue! Click on "I Hate..." Heading for a trip on the way-back machine.
    12. Dean, Great little cross. I do not like these (Hindenburgs) as a rule but this version is rare. I own two by different makers. Ralph A. has one also. I turned the first one up a at Summit County gun show for $15! I still like it. Definitly a smaller cross than the normal one. I'll look for the old thread. It should still be here. Nice obscure find!
    13. I don't have this in my possession. It may go to SOS and I don't want to name the price as I'm not sure if I was given a better price than the public. It is close to what the parts are worth but that's too much for me to tie up right now. I'm still raising kids!
    14. Beau, this bar is too much for me not to be 100% on. Maybe I'm passing a good one but I'll be able to sleep!
    15. I have not black lighted it. The price is up there so nothing gained if a parts bar. Right now I'll keep my powder dry. If anyone knows this bar or the history of it I would like to know.
    16. Exactly my issue. The parts are there and seem to be good. In hand it is well put together. It just looks so new and the use of the 1/2 sized ribbons. If this were an older trapezoid mount with some age I would love it. Have there ever been a number of bars made from real parts on these type of ribbon? I don't remember any.
    17. Here is a bar that I have been offered. I have passed on it but I wanted to post it to make sure I have not missed something. The things that give me pause are the new ribbons, the use of smaller ribbons and the style of bar. I gues it could be a remount that was just kept very clean but I want to see what you think. I can still buy this bar. I have been out for a while so I am a little cold.
    18. Thanks for the help. I had not noticed any maker marks on these but I looked at the pinned thread and once I knew what I was looking for I found one single mark on the French piece. It seems to be a boar's head on the bottom wreath tie. It is hard for me to make out as it was struck very deep into the medal. These are really nice pieces to look at. I focus on Imperial German items but I do appreciate the beauty of these.
    19. These are hard to find. If you look hard you will find a couple a year. I feel they were for civilian attire. I can't remember seeing one in a photo but it would be hard due to the size.
    20. I agree. I just cannot find another example marked this way. It was an intersting surprise. I new there was a mark there but the old eyes just couldn't see it!
