    1. Hi Gentlemen, can someone give me some Information to this Wehrmacht officer? He served in the navy from 1938 - 1944 and was promoted to Kapitaenleutnant(W) d.R. on 01.02.1940 The units i have are: M.A. Za Wilhelmshaven M.A.K. I Düsseldorf M. Abn. Insp. (A) Can someone tell me what this units means? Maybe there are more Information about him and the awards he earned. He was also active in WW1. Regards Alex
    2. The documents for the MVO looks like the MVK. But later they changed to a smaller size. Regards Alex
    3. It should be "R" not K. I think the AOR2X is wrong. But the bar looks ok. What DA is it? It is the last model (1913-1918). for an 1870 veteran i expect the 1874-1913 model. Regards Alex

    6. I think it's "Fl.A 2XX". One of the Fliegerabteilungen Artillerie 200-285. And those were saxon units: FA A 204, 208, 226, 231, 244, 250, 255, 264, 275 and 278. Sorry but it's impossible to identify this observer. Regards Alex

    8. This is absolute a original period badge. I know three groups with a bagde like this. No doubt. this is one of the common bagdes. This is not the first time i see a army badge for an navy Luftschiffer. Regards Alex
