Thanks Dan, I saw them made out of metal wire on black cloth and I saw one made out of one piece of metal (I am not sure that could be a fake). Just a keeper as the set is complete (cap, jacket and trousers). Andreas

Soviet ID VICTORY PARADE UNIFORM
Alfred replied to Zaim Qyteza's topic in Russia: Soviet: Other Militaria
I would say that this is a soviet made uniform for an Albanian general. Maybe made direct after the war in 1945. And later the style for albanian gerneral unofroms changed in 1952. best regards Andreas -
Soviet ID VICTORY PARADE UNIFORM
Alfred replied to Zaim Qyteza's topic in Russia: Soviet: Other Militaria
Are you sure that this one is soviet? The star on the cap looks strange. Soviet general caps had a round metal cap badge. http://rkka.ru/uniform/files/a36.htm How does the membroidery on the arm cuffs look? best regards Andreas -

I wanted to start some research about soviet parade daggers (Land-, Navy- and Air-Force dagger only) In most cases on one side of the blade is the producer (ИМЗ, ZIK and Bulat) and the year of the production (1945 - 1991) On the other side is a number. Is the number related to the dagger produced in this year or in total ? And is there a correlation between the numbers of the three daggers or they a seperatly counted? Due to wearing regulations Navy daggers are most common one, than Land-Forces and AirForce daggers are the rarest ones. best regards and thanks Andreas

Soviet The Hero of The Soviet Union
Alfred replied to MasterBo's topic in Russia: Soviet Orders, Medals & Decorations
The serial numbers look not so bad. Why is one of the serial number so weak, as the piece was heavily cleaned ??? regards Andreas
