    1. Does anyone recognice this signature? The document is marked with what I believe is: Artillerie-Führer I. Abt. II Kr. 5329/22 And dated 14 November 1922 in Königsberg.
    2. Hello! Mönting received the Swedish order on the same date as the document. October 22nd 1940. The Finnish order I don't know. I don't have access to those dates or awards. Mattikkala's book only lists 1st class orders. But you could contact the order chancellery and ask about the date.
    3. Perhaps this new book on Finnish awards to Germans would bring some new names to the lists.... About 3500 names of german recipients.
    4. Hello! Here is a link to the order of precedence for Finland. https://www.hyrsky.fi/kantojarjestys.pdf
    5. Hello! No, there is not any lists available to the public. But you can contact the order chancellery and ask if a certain person received an order. They don't answer questions about why someone received an order or medal.
    6. The date according to Matikkala's book is 15 April and with swords.
    7. So if I understand it correctly you are not 100% certain that it is possible? But the information about the recipients should be at the National Archive? The reason I ask is that I've heard years ago from another collector that it isn't possible to find any names to these medals. So I am curious if there are any new information about this.
    8. Interesting. How do you do to research a civil guard medal?
    9. There is finally a list of Finnish awards to Germans in 1918 published! About 3500 awards and only 50 copies printed. See below:
    10. The list of awards to Germans is availabe if anyone is interested. Only 50 numbered copies!
    11. Unfortunately I don´t have any numbers of how many 1st class crosses are awarded. But they are not super rare among high-ranking officers. But what makes it rare is that most of the awardees are still alive and in service, so there are not many crosses on the market. In the future it will probably be more available.
    12. Here is my newest addition to my collection. The first new Libertycross I got since January 2021 so the ones I still need are getting more and more difficult to find. Here is a Libertycross 1st class with swords and without year on the back. Unfortunately there are some damage to the enamel, but how often do you see these crosses for sale?
    13. Generalmajor von Steinacker got the grand cross of the Order of the Sword on October 11th 1872.
    14. Norwegian order of St. Olaf Commander 1st class on July 2nd 1890
    15. Order of the Sword Commander 1st class on July 27th 1888 Grand cross on July 12th 1895
    16. Was he Oberleutnant zur See on S.M.S. "Rheinland"? I have unfortunately not access to any dates on awards. And I don't know if I should give away to much information that is in the upcoming book on finnish awards to germans...
    17. Swedish Order of the Sword, Commander 2nd class on July 13th 1909.
    18. Carl XVI Gustaf became king in 1973 and the Olympic games took place in August.
    19. Hello! Is the pictured order of the German Eagle of the version that was awarded in 1942? Is it real or fake? It is the correct order for this document right?
    20. Except that it should be a commander’s cross around the neck. Otherwise yes.
    21. Hello! Yes I remember that discussion and yes he would have the neck cross to go with the breast star. Since he got it in 1908 it would have been a neck cross in gold. While Ebbing should have gotten a gilt cross in 1968.
    22. Ebbing received the Commander 1st grade of the Order of the Sword on September 26th 1968. So he got both the breast star of the type you show and the neck cross. Commander 2nd grade was just the neck cross.
    23. L von Blanc got the Dannebrogorden on November 16th 1889. See this clip from the Danish State Calendar of 1890 with his entry.
    24. See the Bulgarian document in this topic. the different dates could be when the king decided to give the order (date in the roll), the date of the award ceremony or the date of approval from the Dutch government. January 25th must be a typo, since the king made the decision in march.
