Good morning, Friedrich Christian v. Palmenstein (*1778) was a Major in the k.pr. 34. IR in 1814. I am wondering if there is any way to find a complete overview of his post 1814 career. His pre-1814 career is known to me. Thanks so much Regards David

In 1815 he tried to get into the kurhessian army again, whence he came, but was refused. He lived in the principality of Waldeck for the remainder of his life on partial english pension, dying at an unknown date somewhere after 1838.

Oh yeah that would be. It is oddly the one I read in my source. I checked and it does say 60 infantry Regiment. I think what is meant 60th regiment of fout (kings royal rifle corps)

The cousin of my greatgrandfather was a german Naval pilot in WW1, stationed a.o. places at SFS Varna. He received the Bulgarian Tapferkeitskreuz IV Klasse Bulgarian Militair Verdienstkreuz Bulgarian Seefliegerabzeichen I would love to get some offers on these as I am trying to assemble his medalbar.
