    1. I just read, there was even a third brother, General der Artillerie Theodor Ludwig Hermann Schubert. I am tempted to ask you, if you have information on him ... but I do not want to strain your generosity ... ?
    2. Good Morning! Is it possible for you to find his brother Generaloberst Adolf Louis Theodor Richard von Schubert in the same book? I would be very thankful. Maybe correct: Richard Theodor Ludwig Leopold von Schubert?
    3. Can anyone help me with the exact promotion dates for Generalleutnant Conrad von Schubert? Unteroffizier (?), Hauptmann (1877 or 1879) and so on. Thank you!
    4. Heinrich Peter Bongartz (1892--1946) had EK II and I, HOH and PLM, does anyone have anything else for him for WW I? He was at last Oberst der Reserve of the Luftwaffe. Does anyone have any awards for WW II? Thank you!
    5. Thank you, Gentlemen! Seeing he doesn't have a star, it should be I. Klasse des Ehrenzeichens des Deutschen Roten Kreuzes, not the Großkreuz?! He is also wearing EK II (Leutnant der Reserve in WW I), Hessische Tapferkeitsmedaille, Hamburgisches Hanseatenkreuz, and Ehrenkreuz für Frontkämpfer ... he also had the Verwundetenabzeichen (1918), why he is not wearing it (maybe protocol?), I do not know.
    6. Can anyone help me by identifying the neck order (Rotes Kreuz?) and the star (Italian?)? Thank you!
    7. Please remove Großherzoglich Mecklenburg-Schwerinsches Militär-Verdienstkreuz, III. Klasse (MK3) and add Oldenburgischer Haus- und Verdienstorden des Herzogs Peter Friedrich Ludwig, Großkreuz (OV1), Hausorden vom Weißen Falken, Großkreuz (GSF1), and Roter Adlerorden, Großkreuz mit Eichenlaub ...
    8. Dear Claudio, please help me out, I am a bit slow today: Is your picture and the Rangliste (what year?) showing General der Kavallerie Hermann Eduard Louis Oskar Freiherr von Vietinghoff genannt Scheel (1851--1933)? Thanks! ... if it is him, I am still looking for WW I awards ... maybe someone can help out. https://gmic.co.uk/topic/77390-general-der-kavallerie-hermann-freiherr-von-vietinghoff-genannt-scheel-1851-1933/?tab=comments#comment-698028
    9. Thank you so much, Gentlemen! Please let me ask a question about Franz Griesbach: Are his last two ribbons maybe hungarian or bulgarian? Thanks!!! Looking closer: Maybe even the Medaille zur Erinnerung an den Kreuzzug gegen den Kommunismus???
    10. Thanks! January 1919 he served in the schweres Artillerie-Regiment 1, but I don't know if the regiment was with Grenzschutz Ost.
    11. Could someone please help identify ribbon 3 and 6 (from left)? Could 6 be something from WW I? Thanks!
    12. Here is what I have found, but I was surprised, that he never received the RAO II: Erinnerungs-Kreuz für den Feldzug von 1866 Roter Adlerorden, IV. Klasse Kaiserliche Kriegsdenkmünze 1870/71 Orden vom Zähringer Löwen, Ritterkreuz I. Klasse (BZL3a/BZ3a) Roter Adlerorden, III. Klasse mit der Schleife St. Wladimir-Orden, IV. Klasse mit Schwertern (RW4⚔) Hausorden vom Weißen Falken, Kommandeurkreuz mit Stern (GSF2mSt) St.-Annen-Orden, II. Klasse (RA2) Orden der Krone von Italien, Großoffizier (JK2) Sankt-Stanislaus-Orden, I. Klasse (RSt1) Preußischer Kronenorden, II. Klasse Königlicher Hausorden von Hohenzollern, Komtur mit Stern (Stern der Komture) Osmanie-Orden, II. Klasse (TO2) Verdienstorden vom Heiligen Michael, II. Klasse mit Stern (BStMV2mSt/BM2mSt) ... laut dem Deutschen Ordens-Almanach handelte es sich um die I. Klasse mit Stern (BayMich1mSt) St.-Annen-Orden, I. Klasse (RA1) ... später die Brillanten zur I. Klasse erhalten (RA1mBr) Orden Isabellas der Katholischen, Großkreuz (SJ1) Zentenarmedaille, 1897 Rote Kreuz-Medaille (Preußen), II. Klasse Medschidie-Orden, I. Klasse (TM1) Preußischer Kronenorden, I. Klasse
    13. I would appreciate any information on Wilhelm-Karl Herrmann (1901--1979), who received the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross 1944. He joined the Reichswehr (maybe artillery, then cavalry; or direct to the cavalry?), later served in the Wehrmacht. Rittmeister Herrmann was given leave 1937 and rode on horseback through all of China until 1939. His famous book is "Ein Ritt für Deutschland". At last he was Oberst. Maybe Russian POW? Any information would be gratefully accepted. Thank you!
    14. Yes, I know his biography, I just cannot find out his rank. Here is a picture, sorry for the bad quality. He could be, it seems, a Oberleutnant, maybe later Hauptmann?!
    15. Thank you, Gunnar, just great! What an interesting life he had! Did you happen to see on ancestry.de, if he had a middle name? Karl ... Morgenschweis? Thanks!!!
