    6. Hello Chip Thanks, for the information. The badge has no maker marks on the reverse, but it has an inscription on the front. It's located along the right rim. The letters are tiny, so it's a bit difficult to read, It's two words, and the last, looks like "EISEN". I have tried to make a close up, from the picture. Snoopy
    7. Hello I bought this small badge, a couple of years ago. I payed less than 3 $ for it. I don't know much about it. It's probably a common badge, but I like the detail on this one. It has what I would call, a safetypin, on the back. I forgot to scan the back. Who would wear such a badge? Is it some sort of campaign badge? Snoopy
    8. Hello I have had this shoulder patch for many years. I believe that it might be british. I don't know much about these patches, so I wondered if anyone could help me identify this one, and how old it could be. If you have any information, I would be grateful. Snoopy
    9. Hello Paul It's not a flare. If you had a written message or order, that you had to deliver to a ground based unit, or it could allso be a downed aircraft crewe, I guess. The aluminium cap could be taken off, and the message put inside. You would then pull the igniter fuse. You then had one second to get it out of the aircraft. The smoke would mark the landing spot. If anyone has any more information on this item, I would very much like to know. Snoopy
    10. Hello I would like to show you, my most recent find. I found it at a local antiques fair, and it did not cost me much. It's not a beauty, but it still has it's original colour, and label. The label says that it's called a "Meldeb?chse (Land)". It allso explains how to use it, and it is allso marked with the "Fl." number. It's in used condition. The smoke marker looks like it has been set off, hence the discoloration of the paint around the middle of the container. This container was used for sending written messages from aircraft, to ground based personell. Sorry, for the lousy picture, but it's the best I could manage. I tried to get a close up of the label, but it did not work out very well. I hope you like my latest find. Snoopy
    11. Hello Very impressive collection, of great looking awards. Snoopy
    12. Hello Paul Great collar tabs. I find the reservist tabs interesting. Would the blue of the piping, be repeated on the shoulder boards? Snoopy
    13. Hello Dan Thanks, I am glad you like it. It's my first attempt at a submarine. Snoopy
    14. Hello I would like to show you my model of the "Kursk". It's built from the Tamiya kit. I hope you like it. Snoopy

    16. This is a postcard from my collection. Perhaps not something to send home to your loved ones.
    17. Hello It's the second pattern armshield, of the "Terek Cossacks". I am not an expert in cloth insignia, so I can't tell you if it's original or not. It looks very similar to one I have seen depicted, in one of my reference books. "Uniforms and tradition", by John R. Angolia and Adolf Schlicht, vol 2. Snoopy
    18. Hello Jos Thanks for sharing. Interesting to see the differences. Snoopy
    19. Hello Jos Thanks, for the close up's. Great reference photos. Do you know if there are any variants of the thermos? Snoopy
    20. Hello Wow, nice collection. Would it be possible to get a close up of the thermos. I haven't seen many of those. Snoopy
    21. I built this model from a Revell 1:48 kit.
    22. Hello I would like to show you my Bf 109 G-10. I finished the model in the scheme, of one of the Bf 109's flying topcover for Focke Wulf 190's that was attacking bomber formations. These 109's was often finished in an overall RLM 76, colourscheme. I opened up a few hatches, and detailed the interior. Sorry for the lousy pictures. I had to use a flash. I hope you like the model Snoopy
