    8. Hi all, hope someone can help me! I have on file an image of a GI from, I think the 99th infantry, he is wearing some ribbons including the Purple Heart which I recognise, it's the others that I don't, also a small badge, anyone recognise them? any help appreciated regards Alex K

I agree typical Souval, these can sometimes be a problem with the purists, Souval made them during the war, but continued to make them immediately post war, with original components so it is not always possible to differentiate pre 45 or post 45 made pieces made for the collector market, a piece made pre may 45 has a value to the purists, those made after may 45 are worthless junk, but as they are identical, how can you differentiate? his later pieces did differ and can be identified

    15. Hello Paul, you may have caught me out on this one!! I know Rudel had a unique position with his uniform, so I did a quick check and have edited the above image to more accurately reflect reality, (I am passionate about accuracy) thanks for the input, see previous post. If you scroll back you will see a colourisation of General Rudel, I posted some time back with his unique tabs and underlay regards Alex K
