Thanks for corrections, James. Photos of Jean Todt (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jean_Todt) during awarding him the title of "Datuk" (2006): It seems to me that he wearing Order of Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin of Trengganu.
Hello! One question about medal called "Mukti Taraka". What its correct name in English and award criteria? At the Antonio ribbon's website this medal named "Campaign Star", but literally translation from Bengali is "Star of Freedom" or "Star of Liberation". By the way, this topic http://medalcollectors.com/forum/showthrea...mp;pagenumber=1 contains many photos of Bangladesh awards. Thanks for Brian! Regards, IVB.
Thank you for the pictures, Ed! It's hard to see so many images of rare Arab awards in one place. And question, gentlemen: what do you think about colouring of these pictures, like this: Regards, IVB.
Hello, redcross! Had you received this Order? Can you show it here, please? Only information I found about this award: Order of Daniel Alcides Carrion established by DECRETO SUPREMO No 8 "DGS" 20 DE Julio de 1957 "Se crea la Orden "Daniel A. Carri?n", en homenaje al centenario del nacimiento de Daniel A. Carri?n", and was modified by DECRETO SUPREMO No 00132-62 3 de Setiembre de 1969 "Se modifica el Decreto Supremo No 8 "DGS" de 20 de Julio de 1957 referente al Consejo de la Orden "Daniel A. Carri?n". Unfortunately, there is no these Decrees in online Peruvian legislation resources. Regards, IVB.
This picture was founded on the auction website some time ago: But this is not Distincion "Carlos Balino", I think. What is it? May be pre-Castro variant?
Hello, Christian! Inscription says: "Druzhinnik of the Guard of Public Order in the Republic of Belarus". Secret Police in Czarist Russia had been called "Okhranka" (Okhrannoye Otdeleniye, that means "Protection Section").
