Hmm, strange one this, I´ve looked for Soviet ones but the biggest Mortar was 240 mm and it dosnt look a bit like the pic But I agree that it seems to be at the Eastern front , but what in heavens name is it I found another candidate ! 38 cm schwerer Ladungswerfer This gun does not exist today what I can find and I haven´t found any pic of it yet .... maybe ? Could it a KARL Mortar ? I can´t find any good pics from the front of that one ..... KARL was made in 60 cm and 54 cm if my info is right ? I looks really awsome Christer -

Thanks all for your help with this photo I searched the net for SHAEF but could only find some info, there was 1495 US officers i April 1945, the question is, if this pic is from 1946-47 Was he Colonel in 1945 ? I found some Colonels at SHAEF 1944-45 Dan Gilmer Howard A Malin Emil C Boehnke Charles H Wilson Ford Trimble Wilbur S Elliot Alan B Jacobs Carter Burgess Walter C Pew John B Sherman J.B. Moore E.K Clark F. E Frazer Now I have to search theese names to se if anyone match the photo Christer

Hi all, here is some better pics of this mysterious ribbonbar If number four is the Bavarian Sanitets Cross for home service , and no five is Bulgarian Bravery I lean towards Finnish Bravery 1918 ? on last place The question is , was he a Bavarian ? There isn´t that many Bavarians with SEHO listed..... A interesting one Christer

I bought this ribbon bar from a forum member, (hope he dont mind I borrow his pic ) First ribbon is EK II , SEHO , HEK, but then ??? my thought was the Bavarian "Sanitets Kreuz für Heimat" a Bulgarian ? and last ??? TR Red Cross ? When I get it I will post better pics but I thought I could give you a teaser first Christer
