Despite the mousing, I bet that it would still display very well and not be that noticable. I find the fact that the piping around the collar is the early blue/silver and the tabs are the later green/silver, interesting. -

Yep, That is a set of them and this is the same seller in the article in the below link. I have attached some email messages between myself and the seller. She seems honest enough... Hi, I have just traded for this very unique tab. I was told by another collector that it was a collar tab for a member of the Dornier Plane Manufactoring Plant's Fire Police(dept). I think that I did very very well in this trade. Can anyone confirm this? Has anyone seen such an insignia?

WOW!!! I remember picking up a pair of Distinctive Service Medals(Gold and Silver grades) for 35 dollars at a gun show. The funny thing is that I questioned whether or not I paid too much! Paul
