    1. The finns didn´t take part in the WW 1 but had a Civil War in 1918, when they succesfully drove out the russians and became the independant nation we all now now. I don´t have the 1918 type but i do have some pics of one made in gold.
    2. Hello Chris, sorry for the very late reply to you requests. Here is the reverse of the 39-45 badge that started this topic
    3. Hi Chris, well there is no differance in the finnish terms. A wounded is a disabled as well in their way to look at it in a post war perspective. Each wound is veiwed and calculated in percentages
    4. Nice catch Gordon. The middle one features the type of catch that can be found on Schickle 1 class KVK?s and EK?s and on some WB?s as well. Maybe there is more behind this...
    5. Now, that one looks mutch better than the first one you posted. Compare the eagle details and you?ll see the differances between the 2.
    6. Hello Nan Su, i am afraid that the first IAB you posted is a known fake. The design of the eagle don?t match the B.H.Mayer/F&R designed IAB. Here?s one to compare with http://www.germancombatawards.com/thread.p...light=mayer+iab The other 2 are ok though.
    7. Very nice Assmann BWB! If your ever going to part with it... I shure would love to get one of those to keep my own Assmann SWB company.
    8. Nice Imperial collection! The badge in post 29 is most likely a Otto Schickle made WB, the same hardware set up is to be found on TR WB makermarked L/15.
    9. Nice collection Mike! ' Well there are more out there to make the WB collection growing
    10. A stunning Imperial WB! I shure wouldn?t mind having one in my collection.
    11. Thanks Don! From what i found it?s supposed to be: "The STH was the logo of "Der Stahl Hof", the Stahlhelm's own little PX for members. They sold everything from plaques of Franz Seldt to trinkets for the sweetheart." and: "Like all Stahlhelm activities, the STH was centered in the founding district of Magdeburg. Don't know the true maker of the badges, and we'd probably need the contract records to find out." That particular "makermark" comes from a Stahlhelm badge.
    12. Hi gents, i stumbled on to a makermark i never have seen before and am no turning to you guys for help. Any clue what company used this?
    13. Hi guys, V.L. is Viktor Lindman. The other half of Lindman & Tillander which later on became A.Tillander.
    14. Finnish 1939 - 45 badge for War desabled, sorry for the typo in the header.
    15. I agree with the others, 2 bad casted fakes. The faker even used the same mold for both badges!
    16. Congrats to a "??" IAB with the rare reverse set up Don!
    17. A nice and rare JSF IAB, to bad about the catch though.
