Surely some of you can give me a clear picture of the precedence orden of this Bavarian Cross. As I know: First: The Military Verdients Order, (MVO) This is the one with blue enamels and w/ or wo/ flames , w/ or wo/swords, etc...(Can Have crown too??) Second: The more common Military Verdienst Kreutz (MVK)...There are 3 classes or not ? (Silver , bronze...there exist a gold one??), the crown is a subgrade ?;... the zinc crosses are time war crosses corresponding to a silver class??? or another different lower class? Please some know-how!! Thanks... Miguel

Gentlemen, Stogiemann... I?m been interested in a Sachsen bar with St. Heinrich medal...I?ve just find one, but the medals look a little shabby, as if not were silver...I?m in the moment to bid...but ...I have some strange feeling. Please send me your opinions...The matter could be resolved in question of minutes... Thanks a lot. This is a little of abuse, I know... Miguel

They are 2 different EK, the interest is because their price in this moment is somewhat lower than the EK one normaly see at eBay or another forums...lower that 100?... That?s why this same Good Price makes me suspicious... Thanks Miguel

Imperial Russia Opinion about my new purchase please
hipnos replied to Noor's topic in Russia: Imperial
I?ve never see such example with this number on the cross upper arm: 1/M. By the way if your list is correct and is for all classes of the St. Georg, this come from the russo-japanese war... On the ribbons, you can put, as a stop gap, if the GMIC don?t anathemize this, a USSR Victory over germany mount (kolodka), if you wants I have some replacement ribbon too... regards Miguel. PS/ Remind the bar pics...Below is the mine, 3th class, SNr: 128161 (Kaucassus??) -
Kev: I?ve see that the romanian medals are in the correct place, to the last of the Bar, The ribon of the star of romania, 1st type is the correct, if you look carefully there are two blue lines at the side of the ribbon that in the first type is the correct one...the "militara virtute" has only a blue line at both sides of the ribbon and the blue is lighter (take a look at my romanian bars at the showcase). I?ve never see a St Michael Bavarian merit cross, and two hohenzollern medals in the same bar (but probably I haven?t see so many like you and rick...). The Hindemburg cross in the first place is the piece that puzzled me... I?ve see both at ebay and again in the second bar... I?d never see (out of books) a Mecklemburg wendish crown merit cross...and again: Why the prussian make so prominent the kriegshilfe cross ...???. A EKII would be a better looking first place for the bar...(I know, I know...that?s a capital sin...) thanks to all of you...I must be the larges debtor in beers to all of you..... Miguel PS/ As I say you the bars are in ebay, impossible to show the rear face of both bars

Soviet Glory Order 2 class
hipnos replied to highfive's topic in USSR: Soviet Orders, Medals & Decorations
Gentlemen: I?ve noticed that a higher proprotion of sellers at eBay.de, don?t have PayPal and insist in Bank transference, that, as you know leave you totally unprotected and make much more difficult to enforce your money devolution. I remind that the only time I have a problem in ebay was with a geman seller that never send me an EK 1class I?ve bought (and payed by Int.Money Order). eBay can?t do nothing to the respect...Of course I?m not saying that the bulk of german sellers are more "thieves" that the rest but that their relative preference by don?t use PayPal leave the buyer more defenceless... Regards Miguel -
Yes the first class I?ve see is in silver with enameled center, but I do?t know if there is a "gild loss" and was originally gilded... I?ve checked the place But, I can see an eyelet, but I can?t see where another order/medal can be placed (it?s not enough space...) What are you thinking...??? Miguel
