    1. Comparing it to my uncle's, it looks good.
    2. It could be a Spangenstueck, but I would go after a nice award piece.
    3. Marius, I think valuations are frowned upon on this forum. Those look like nice items, in particular the White Falcon. You can PM me for values if you like.
    4. There were many variants, so-called Spangenstuecke, produced. Award pieces have the ribbed suspension loop at the upper cross arm.
    5. There are many variants of this medal, and also many fakes floating around. Award types should be around 15 grams. Does yours have the die cutter's name in the neck area? Should say 'Schultz'.
    6. Judging from these shots they all look good, unless the fakers are now adept at copying the details.
    7. They are known to have occurred, I don't dispute that. However, I find the pin assembly and manner of construction of the reverse of this bar to be problematic.
    8. If you're satisfied with this piece, then that's all that matters, of course. I find it a completely unbelievable item, as the combination is considered all but non-existent, and the manner of construction of this bar is clearly not up to usual Godet standards. Have a close look at the reverse.
    9. Can you post close-ups of the suspension systems? These are now being faked in large numbers, so you should exercise caution.
    10. The quality of construction is not up to Godet standards IMHO.
    11. I wonder who had more uniforms, Wilhelm II or this guy?
    12. I agree, the BMVO was pretty banged up and the SAO1mS was missing the reverse medallion. However, I believe it should be identifiable. I bailed at 1500.00.
    13. Did anyone here snag this interesting Schnalle off fleabay yesterday? Has a Siam Crown Order.
    14. Nice Kette. You're right, the Siamese Crown Order is not common on German Schnallen. Here is another.
    15. Agreed, I like that even more than the standard Poellath examples. Any idea as to maker?
    16. Definitely something Bulgarian at the end, and beside it I'm guessing a Romanian order.
    17. That's true, The hallmarks are the most convincing aspect of this badge.
    18. Cool, the minis are not common. I still have my allegedly fake one, I 'awarded' it to my wife on her 25th anniversary in her job.
    19. After seeing these images I have doubts about the entire badge. The shape of the wreath is weird, amongst other things.
    20. Good question, but the style of engraving is certainly not of the period.
