    1. Thanks for posting the photos, Claudio. I thought the hardware far too modern looking.
    2. Very nice combo on this bar. I only have one with a pre-1914 Mecklenburg MVK, so I know these are not growing on trees.
    3. Patrick, that is a little odd. If what he's saying is correct, then the Afrika medal on the end should have been cut off as well in 1943.
    4. I have this individual as with 3. Dragonnerregiment Prinz Karl No. 22 in 1908. If anyone can add to this, it would be most welcome.
    5. Anyone have any thoughts on the EK 1 sold by Detlev Niemann today? Sorry, I don't have a link.
    6. Matt, that is a great start to bar collecting (understatement of the century). I have collected Imperial bars for some time, and can vouch for the addictive nature of the hobby.
    7. Thanks Andy, much appreciated. He has a rather unusual name, sounds somewhat Norwegian.
    8. The Russians forcibly took away millions of German civilians after the war ended as slave labor, and worked a large percentage to death. To the victors, the spoils, apparently.
    9. Holy crow Timo, what's the story behind that guy? Twenty decorations is almost unbelievable.
    10. I have an award document for the PKO to this officer, dated 1912, as CO of the III. Matrosenartillerieabteilung. Hopefully someone has more details on his career.
    11. I have an award document for the PRAO dated 1912 to this officer in 10. Infantry Regiment 134. Apparently he was Saxon. More information would be most welcome.
    12. I have a letter to this officer for award of the PRAO dated 1910, at which time he was Kommandant von Koenigsberg\Pr. If anyone could fill in details, that would be great.
    13. Hopefully someone will have information on this officer. I have him as CO of the 49th Infantry Brigade in 1898.
    14. I have an award document for the Prussian XXV year LSC dated 1861 to this officer. If anyone has any information on him, it would be appreciated. He was in Brandenburgisches Dragoner-Regiment 2.
    15. Guys, it is the Golden Jubilee Medal, not Diamond, as already stated twice.
    16. It is the 1887 Golden Jubilee Medal in bronze. Mark, I'm wondering if it is Guelich's bar, prior to being upgraded with his later awards?
    17. Nobody has any German bars with English connections? Or is everyone on holiday?
    18. Paul, I suppose that could be the diamond jubilee medal? Thanks Claudius for hosting the pictures. I'd like to see more bars with English decorations, so if anyone has any, please show them.
