    1. Interesting that the cover is translated in German! I really like that kind of Germany occupation document. Thanks for sharing it with us Rick!
    2. It would be interesting if a native speaker could translate this document. If it's the real thing, it looks to be a quite impressive document!
    3. The GDR ceased to exist in 1990 and Soviet (Russian) soldiers went back to Russia in 1994. What were they doing in East Germany with Soviet cloths in 1998?
    4. This one marks the jubilee of the 10 anniversary of the October Revolution. It is also written : "Workers of the World, unite!" Very nice case!
    5. Thanks Christian. It's interesting to know that. Well I have a "jumbo" size Red Banner of Labor in my collection, but it is 6 digits. That's maybe why I only paid a fraction of that price.
    6. Funny seller: http://cgi.ebay.com/CROATIAN-RED-PENTACLE-...5QQcmdZViewItem
    7. If a veteran earned a Partisan Star 1st Class and never worn it, I guess he would have been not so proud to have received that order. Anyway, your star is very nice even if worn or not worn.
    8. Order of Red Banner of Labor #24998 Do I miss something or this is an extremely low number? I wonder why this order sold for 450 EUR!
    9. I didn't mean it by the number, but by the look of it. I do not see any trace of wear on it. It seems it was just out of the mint, because it is in pristine condition.
    10. It looks very nice! Am I right to say that this piece wasn't awarded?
    11. Thank you Gentlemen for your information! I really appreciate your help. I like this kind of shield. I think they are very nice and very representative of the time period. I mostly collect East German signs, but I also like other communist related shields like this one. Thanks again for your help! Bryan BTW Gordon, how will you be able to bring back in Ottawa all the stuff you bought in Europe? Will you need a container?
    12. I have never seen this before. I took the scan on a russian forum. That is impressing he got no Red Star, but 4 Bravery medals.
    13. Круто : means cool I don't know if you will need that word for the collection.
    14. Could somebody please tell me what is it for and what it means? Thanks for your help!
    15. This is getting ridiculous! Capture of Budapest was sold for $72 US http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...W:IT&ih=020
    16. There was a thread like this made on the other forum by Christophe. http://www.soviet-awards.com/forum/soviet-...ums-moscow.html
    17. Maybe for the same reason that the "Universal Postal Union" only in French was.
    18. Fantastic group! Are you going to research the Red Stars? Maybe you could be lucky with the citations!
    19. Wow, very impressive duplicate award! Thanks for the pictures!
    20. I have just added this nice Order of the Red Star to my collection. I have ordered research upon reception. It is supposed to have been awarded to an East German officer. The needle has an East Geman made configuration.
    21. Nah, it just happened that I only got passports from girls with 1980's hairstyle.
