Gerd, The ribbon in question is for the Badge of the 25th Anniversary of Victory Over Germany in the GPW. Many Veterans wear this version (identical to VoG medal) or the stripes go from top left to bottom right diagonally. Nice ribbon bars!!! Doc
Paddywhack, I agree!!! There is just SOOOOOO much to be "fixed" I'm afraid more damage would be done to it. I have a Belgium order with small leaves on it, most missing part or all of the enamel. I left it alone, just happy that I have one. As for a ribbon, check the OMSA Ribbon Bank. They may or may not have it. Doc

I also have his wifes medals. I have His research and all award books for both husband and wife. This group earned me a Bronze exhibit medal at the OMSA Convention this year. Doc
