    1. It's a 3rd Reich section so any and all from that era are welcome.
    2. Here is another example to a founding soldier of IR GD in 1939 and was issued while he served in IR 57 in 1937-38. It contains the signature of Werner Sanne who won the Knights Cross & DKiG, went on to command 100 Lei.Infanterie-Division at Stalingrad, was captured there and died in Russian captivity in 1952.
    3. Not something I actively seek out to collect so the ones I have tend to come with other items, i.e. Soldbuch etc, but the Führerschein & Fahrlehrerschein can be a very underestimated item for collectors. Whether they are from hard to find units, contain great photos or signatures of future Generals or winners of high end awards there are plenty of reasons why they can be great additions to a papewrwork collection. So if you have one please feel free to add it to this thread. Here are two for a long serving member of Pz.Rgt 35 (1938-44). The Führerschein is a Zweitschrift issue and was issued by II/Pz.Rgt 35 and contains the signature of Wilhelm Hochbaum who won the DKiG in 1942. The Fahrlehrerschein was issued by Pz.Abt.Abw 9 in which the soldier served from 1936-38. The photo comes from his Wehrpass..
    4. Hard to say and as it is the equivalent to a Hauptmann it may be hard to find out for sure - but that first letter also looks very similar to how they used to sign their name when it began with a 'B'.
    5. Another Deutsche-Reichs-Sportsabzeichen in Bronze for a future member of 2 Panzer Division...
    6. And here is another unit-level certificate for a member of IV/NJG-1 and signed by nightfighter ace Hans-Joachim Jabs...
    7. There are many variants of citations for Sports Awards from the more formal German Horseman's & SA Sports Badge to the less formal unit-level sports day certificates. Here is an example of the latter for a member of 52 ID and signed by Lothar Rendulic and also the soldiers booklet/citation for the Deutsches-Reichs-Sportsabzeichen in Bronze...
    8. Not a style of citation I have seen any variations of. Here is an example to a Doctor onboard the 'Gneisenau'.
    9. And a 1940 dated Fliegerschützen citation and again this one carries the stamped signature of Kastner-Kirdorf.
    10. Fliegerschützen mit Blitzbündel example this time to a He-111 crewmember who flew on numerous air-launched V-1 missions against the UK.
    11. Fliegerschützen ohne Blitzbündel example bearing the commonly seen stamped signature of Gustav Kastner-Kirdorf.
    12. Three similar variants to soldiers in different Pionier units.
    13. This variant would seem to be a very commonly seen one. This was awarded to a member of SS-Leibstandarte's Artillery Regiment and signed by Gustav Mertsch.
    14. Bomber Clasp in Bronze variant to a He-111 crewmember who flew on numerous air-launched V-1 missions against the UK.
    15. Two examples to a DKiG & Ehrenpokal holder, namely the Bomber Clasps in Silver and Gold.
    16. Two examples to a member of KG z.b.V 1 being the Bomber Clasp in Silver (which was also awarded to transport crews) and the Transport Clasp In Silver which replaced the Bomber Clasp when it was instituted.
    17. An example of a Night Fighter Clasp in Silver for a member of NJG-4.
    18. A very early war example being dated just 6 days after the award was instituted, so no doubt that it is a back-dated citation. This for a crewman on U-18.
