    1. Hi, Thank you so much for your reply. Unfortunately I don't have much additional information, other than I'm trying to identify a mixed group of German and Belgian Congo decorations. From the Congolese decorations configuration there seems to be only 1 German that fits the bill: Fritz Franz MICHELL. He was also part of a Prussian expedition in Afrika in 1912 and sees German colonial service during the First World War. So I'm trying to prove that this medalgroup is actually his. Or that it is not him, and that I have to look elsewhere and dig deeper. Thank you again for your help. Have a good WE, Jan
    2. Hello, I'm trying to find more info on Fritz Franz MICHELL, and would also like to confirm that he received the Prussian Rote Adler Orden. He would also have seen colonial service before and during WOI. If anyone with access to relevant lists could have a look, that would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks!!! Best regards, Jan

    15. Wow, great to see so much information coming out. It stimulated me to dust of some of my docs. Here's a document that is supposed to be for a type 3 best herder badge. Issued in 1958. Don't know exactly how this fits in with the last conference in 1955? Best regards, jan

    20. Even though I share your frustration that this group was split, I do not know of any collector who would have paid 5k for this group. Even more so, since the historic value of this modern group is very limited. The only historic background resides in diplomatic goodwill exchange. Best regards, Jan
    21. The seller "harvested" about 5000€ on this sale. Best regards, Jan
    22. Unfortunately, the group was not kept together and was sold "in pieces" on ebay Belgium, last week. =o(((( Jan
