    2. Thanks for this hint Robin, but I cannot even find evidence that a tinnie was issued for this event... I knew that I had another photocard from the same series (see enclosed). Röhm is next to AH who is saluting SA men passing by. Obviously a rally of some substance. Strange enough, on the reverse, in pencil some one noted 24.7.33, but this is an uneventful Monday..... I thought that every move of AH between birth and death has been recorded by now, but obviously there are still some gaps. I am putting my hopes on the GMIC Tinnie-front for clues.
    3. A stange patriotic postcard, stressing that Germany is innocent in the World War. A reply to an accusation? The postamp is 2 September 1915, sent by an Artillery man from the Guards Depot II Foot-Artillery-Regiment in Döberitz

    6. For some time I have this intriguing postcard of a not so cheerful AH in my collection. Behind him is Ernst Röhm (killed June 1934) and the post stamp is 28.7.33. I like this photo because generally AH does not wear many interesting decorations, but here he sports a tinnie which I cannot identify, and it seems that Röhm wears the same. - When/where was this photo taken? - What is the tinnie? - Who is the SA Gruppenführer right behind AH? I would be grateful for your help.
    7. Recently I found this WW1 postcard showing a German tank under new management. Twenty of these were built. Can any member say which tank (Number and name) is depicted?
    8. Thanks Rick for this identification, that could explain the prominent place of this decoration. When I aquired this photo I made a note on the reverse, that he belonged to Arb.Gr. 1/87 (stationed near Crossen a/Oder)
    9. A photo from my RAD collection, showing a Reichsarbeitsdienst Oberstfeldmeister at ease. On the table a very nice tea or coffee cup (which I would not mind to have in my collection), but the puzzle for me is in the cross that dangles next to his EK1. What could this be and why should he wear it in this manner?
    10. He is also wearing an odd device - which I cannot make out - on the second ribbon of his ribbon bar
    11. Perhaps the Life Saving Awards Research Society (LSARS) may shed some light on this matter http://lsars.org.uk/
    12. the position would indicate a Life Saving Medal (blue ribbon), but the close up is not clear enough to see details which may be of help to decide upon which Life Saving Society
    13. In april 1944 different colored bands around the helmet were introducd, to distinguish between the three "wings" of the Military Police and Provost units: - a red band, for the Provost Wing; - a white band, for the Traffic Control Wing; - a dark blue band, for the Vulnarable Points Wing.
