Thanks to this debate on hero cities, I have dug out my atlas to Hero cities awarded in World War II or the GPW And it lists the Ukaz's for the Hero cities, its in Russian, if any one is intrested I can post a few It also has a great maps of the battles it's great to use in conjuction with Alexanders Werths Russia at War but this is straying Order of Victory

Here is the latest addition to my collection here is sellar description: Fascinating medal awarded by the North Vietnamese Govt. to Soviet specialists who participated in the Vietnamese war. The USSR provided technical assistance across all arms particularly aviation and artilery. This one is cased in a chinese style red silk covered case, numbered and has the letters V.N.D.C.C.H. The case also has the same number and the name 'L. Tsederpil' writen on the back. Medal is a little worn, but the quality of manufacture was not excellent to begin with. However this is gold washed silver (not aluminium) with plastic enamel. If any one has any more info plese let me know Order of Victory

Jim, This is the best I can do its a 1946 Gonzak for a medal of bravery I cant get shot due the poor quality of a) my camera b) the document itself It has 8 pages As Iam awar all order books for Bravey Combat service etc books have black lettering? Order of Victory
