Rick, My Order of the Red Star is seriel number 3290518 issued in 1954 is it probable that this is a long service award?

I aslo seen to Remember Collect Russia had one a while ago

Im not sure weather this should go with Orders Books: Editions & Series. I have just been asked a question, that I didnt know the answer for, what are the Sereil numbers on the bottom of award documents for? i.e Medal for the Capture of Berlin Award Document A 392374 I presume the A is early but the number I dont have a clue

Dolf, There are two resons why pic's havent been posted: 1. I havent worked out how to get them small enough to post 2. I curently dont have my Nevsky it isin the Musseum of Central Lancashire in a World War II display with my 3rd Anniversary of the October Revolution 1917-1920, For the Defence of Odessa, For the Capture of Berlin, For the Liberation of Belgrade, Order of Great Patriotic War 1st Class Type 2, Order of Great Patriotic War 2nd Class Type 1 Variation 3, For the Victory over Germany, Order of Service to the Homeland 3rd Class, Hero of Socialist Labour and Order of Lenin Type 6 Variation 1 (I know some arent World War II medals and orders I just throgh them in for effect.) So I dont have no pics of any of those medals. Order of Victory

My Order of the October Revolution is 61003 and was issued in 1973. Great threads keep them coming.......

Heres mine its a type 3 with the seriel number 38007. I also have a document for Nevsky 25194

Mine is seriel number 32717 and the order book states it was awarded on 02/06/1983.

Wonderful, I cant belive that some one has all three classes, its ot something I have ever seen before! Dave, I dont know where you found all those, it took me a while to track down my 3rd Class, it eventualy turned up in Hong Kong - Dont Ask Also Dave if your offered another second class pass them my way! My Order for service to Motherland 3rd Class is No. 95148, I dont know weather its a un-issued piece or not
