NavyFCO
Very nice!!!!!!!!! To a General Major of Artillery! He was fairly well decorated as well... 4x Red Banners, the Kutuzov 2nd Class and a Red Star! (Figure that two RB and the RS were long service - he still earned two RBs and the Kutuzov! NICE!) I can't wait to see the rest of the research!Dave
NavyFCO
I was curious why he didn't get a Lenin, and then at second look at the AC, it's shoved in at the very top! Nice! Dave

Guest Rick Research
Please CROP the research pages so that they fill up all that wasted white space. It's too hard for me to read the small, light, and tiny.

Mondvor
Order of Victory, in the award card it looks like the first Red Banner has s/n 35411. Maybe it is just my wrong impression because of not very sharp image. Can you tell what is in the document - 35411 or 36411?Thanks!

NavyFCO
And the reverse. In this scan, you can see that the number is a slightly square "6"... a little worse copy and you may well think it's a "5" though!

order_of_victory
Medal for 30 years soviet army and navyWow tahanks Gerd You spotted one I did not see, every time I look at I see another award I agree withyou on the dates I was just asking the researcher about researching his Kutuzov and he says it would no be particulary intresting Order
Gerd Becker
Your screwback ORB, the Red Star, the ORB 2nd award and the Kutuzov were awarded for bravery. Only the Lenin (25 years) and the last two Red Banner(20 and 30 years) are Long-Service awards.I don?t know, why the researcher think, the Kutuzov won?t be interesting. But he has a lot of experience, so i am inclined to trust his judgement. Maybe someone else can clear up this point.Thats a really nice screwback ORB with great research Congrats
