I presume that these were done by very proud recipients who wanted to make certain that people knew they'd received the prestigious EK1 as well. Chris Boonzaier Posted March 21, 2007 Share Posted March 21, 2007 Ditto,I have a large photo of a Bavarian wearing an EK2 in a studio photo, then the EK1 added.It was probably done 1) as he was KIA after the EK1 award and never got around to getting a photo done2) In 1933 wanted a photo of himself with his EK1 so had it added to a wartime photoEither one is possible.
