EK 1914 Collection of EK2's

Yes these are a joy to collect. Each one has it's own charms. They come directly from an era that is long gone yet you can have a little part of it with each one.

It's been awhile but here's another one. Posted seperatley a few days ago but I'm actually using this post as my own reference thread to keep a track of my EK2's. A Third Reich era produced example marked L/57 on the ring.

A couple of more to add. This one has a hard to read maker mark. It's LV 2 something. If I go by published lists I would say it's LV26. Nice one either way.

Here's an SW marked piece. I bought this as an HW but there is no such maker listed anywhere, so I should have known better. I already have this maker but what can you do?

Just keeping my ongoing archive of Imperial EK2's going. Here's one I picked up as a cased medal. It turned out to be a KAG, which I already have, but a bonus over unmarked I guess. This cross has a nice dark patina.

Super collection! What I like most about the 1914 EK2 is that they are still affordable and have so many variations.

You must be talking about the L/57 EK2. That was a great find. One you don't see everyday, even as a maker of 1939 EKs. My EK2 collection is getting decent. It's getting harder to find makers I don't have. There's many out there. I appreciate the comments from fellow collectors.

If I hear of a JWS I'll let you know. In the meantime I will post my latest EK2 aquisition. It's marked KO and is my second one from this maker. I picked it up because it is attached to a single parade mount. It's in good shape.

It's been awhile since I've picked up a new marked EK2, but two single parade mounts showed today and both were marked with makers I do not have, which was a pleasant surprise becasue I only bought these because they were parade mounted. Both of these are nice examples. he first is marked IW.
