Bob Lyons Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 A Luftwaffe Signaller's tunic I have, with the loops on the right hand pocket, I am assuming the guy would have been a veteran of the Spanish campaign, so I hve given him the ribbons for that service, and yeah I need a Spanish Cross to put there too, will do some better shots of this, these photos are fairly old and a couple not quite focused right, but it will give you an idea.Bob
Bob Lyons Posted April 2, 2007 Author Posted April 2, 2007 Just had a look on my files, and I have a better image of the collar patch, this is from my scanner....
Bob Lyons Posted April 2, 2007 Author Posted April 2, 2007 Ribbon bar (not original to the tunic, just my guess as to what he might have worn)...
Bob Lyons Posted April 2, 2007 Author Posted April 2, 2007 Will finish off with a scan of the breast eagle.Bob
Paul R Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Now that is an incredible tunic. Nice bullion eagle!
François SAEZ Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Ribbon bar (not original to the tunic, just my guess as to what he might have worn)...Spanish campain = probably Spanish CrossVery nice eagle typical on early tunics
Scott Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Great looking tunic - I really like the quality of the early ones with collar piping and cord-stitched insignia. Thanks for sharing it! Scott
