    And here are two more 1939 examples, for the Luftwaffe this time - one for a future DKiG/Ehrenpokal winning bomber pilot and the other to a airman in a Recce unit...

    I would not pay spit extra for Sperrle, all the LW ones have a good name on them, but I agree this unit is fantastic !!!!! Probably worth what the Sperrle inflation was!

    I agree, and I think the same goes for Kesselring signatures. In my experience he signed A LOT of EK documents from 1940-1943. His is an interesting signature to own but it certainly isn't uncommon. Generally, its the air units on the docs that he signed that are often more desireable than his actual signature.

    EK II citation awarded to a soldier serving with a heavy artillery unit that was equipped with siege artillery (30.5 & 35.5cm guns) with 18 Armee at the time of the award...

    A 1939 dated EK II citation and a 1940 dated EK I citation awarded to the gunnery officer onboard Scharnhorst, Ernst Dominik, who would go on to serve as the Second in Command onbaord the ship when she was sunk and was awarded the DKiG. EK II signed by Wilhelm Marschall & EK I signed by Günther Lütjens...

    Also shown is a small paper folder that the two EK citations were kept in.
