Luftwaffe Black piped Luftwaffe NCO's visor cap

Just in from my first night shift, and have a bit of time so here is my latest pick up, from Wetze in Germany,

a rather nice black piped Other Ranks/NCO's visor cap, full sweat diamond, but no maker, will let the photos do

the talking, but I am rather pleased with it....

And another view, with it on a glass head, once it is on the headform it regains it's shape, which has over the years

squashed in a bit at the rear.

Well, I trust your judgement implicitly on these caps, so that one goes back to where it came from,

and as I type this, it is sitting in it's box ready to head back to the German dealer that sold it to me.

I did show some photos of this one to a few of the troops before I made the decision to go ahead and buy

it, and all gave it a thumbs up, but I did worry a bit about the shape, thanks for saving me quite a few

dollars.

Hello ,

I think this is an old hat , but in my opinion not TR era . I do not like the shape of the hat or the chin strap and , maybe this is just the way it looks in the picture but the aluminium emblems look too new for the age of the hat .
