Guest IMHF Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 Does any one else out there have any Iraqi swords to share?? If you do please post them.......Thank youLorenzo
Schießplatzmeister Posted May 23, 2008 Posted May 23, 2008 Lornezo,Can you please trim down the size of the photos a bit? It makes browsing a little easier. Your swords are totally amazing. How did you get all of this back?Hello Paul:When I was in that area of the world a few years ago, it was possible to ship any weapons-related item there, but any firearms or parts were prohibited for export.Edged weapons were not a problem for export though strangely enough. Hence, I have a lot of AKM bayonets, but all small arms and parts had to be left there. I also couldn't ship home a Soviet/Russian RPG-7 sight which someone gave me. At the time, I recall reading in Stars and Stripes about an Air Force Officer who was charged with smuggling AK/AKM/RPK/PKM parts out of Iraq. The firearms export ban was stictly enforced.Best regards,"SPM"

I kept it in my room until it was time to go home, along with some PKC belt ammo. I should have tried to take the handle home that had made in Iraqi engraved on it.I do have a few AK47 Fire Suppressors from Iraq...Lorenzo Edited August 9, 2008 by IMHF
