JapanX Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 Chuck, I`ll make additional bio notes on other types in your collection + photos of cavaliers
Chuck In Oregon Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 Chuck, I`ll make additional bio notes on other types in your collection + photos of cavaliers Thank you for that extremely generous offer. I'll be glad to take you up on it but I'll try not to be too burdensome. I have a TON of items in my collection, including lots of documents. I even have a couple of NKVD capital case files, with interrogations and photos. Do we have a forum for Soviet or Imperial documents? I know that Rick loves documents (it's one of the first questions I asked on GMIC) but I don't know who else. Chuck
Noor Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 Amazing materials and great shots! My trip is now over and back in Dublin. Result is here (I think best find was Sergei Dubinin's set!) but I kind a like metal as well:
Eric Gaumann Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 The fourth one is the best! Harder to find (at least for me). That, and the basic badge without the hole at the bottom. They are the bit more rare, post-war para badges.
Noor Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Here are all of them that I have so far... second "instructor parashutist" with the number "400" is interesting - number is part of the badge and not pinned in.
slava1stclass Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 Gents, Nice early jump wings as worn by Guards Maj Gen V. G. Zholudyev. Regards, slava1stclass
slava1stclass Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 Gents, An exceptionally crisp image of Maj Gen V. G. Vasilyev's 200+ jump wings. Image dates to November 3, 1954. They don't get much sharper than this. Regards, slava1stclass
slava1stclass Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 Gents, A nice example of a jump log recording jumps from balloons, Li-2 and AN-2 aircraft. Regards, slava1stclass
Chuck In Oregon Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Very nice couple of photos. Thanks for sharing them. I have a couple hundred photos that I'm just starting to go through for the first time since I bought them years ago. I'll share anything interesting. I'm enjoying my renaissance of collecting, thanks to Hauptmann. Chuck

achern Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 On that note, does anyone happen, just happen, to have a 1936 USSR Master of Parachute Sport badge for sale?
