Gordon Craig Posted October 17, 2018 Posted October 17, 2018 Deben, First a question. How do you know this group is missing a Sangram medal? If you have some provenance that Sep. Sukhdev Singh was awarded it, I would suggest that you mount the medals that you have and display it with an unnamed Sangram medal. Other wise just mount what you have and display it that way. My two cents worth. Regards, Gordon
Deben Posted October 17, 2018 Posted October 17, 2018 Thanks Gordon, My understanding is that anyone in active service during the '71 war is entitled to the medal? Regards Deben
azyeoman Posted February 21, 2022 Posted February 21, 2022 These are fascinating groups. How difficult is it to find a Korean War group to an Indian. I’ve been looking for 15 years and haven’t come across one.
Gordon Craig Posted February 25, 2022 Posted February 25, 2022 azyeoman I think that you have answered your own question. No luck in 15 years. I don't own a medal bar let alone a Korean War one. Good luck in your search. You might try looking on SAGONGS and talk to the guys who post there. Regards, Gordon
paul wood Posted February 26, 2022 Posted February 26, 2022 A Korea bar was being offered by a dealer some years ago for a huge price.i am afraid Indian korea medals are as rare as the proverbial rocking horse manure and would command a high price were such to appear. India sent a tiny cotingent to Korea. P
