Laurence Strong Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 (edited) With the changes documented in the 1940 regulations, the wartime official?s tabs were changed to a light grey background piped with dark green. The Hoeherer Dienst tabs were made of gold Bullion thread on a light grey background with a gold stripe down the middle. The waffenfarbe was piped in dark green around three of the edges. Celleon thread was used to replace the bullion as the war went on.You see a lot of these Beamte auf Kreigsdauer Hoeherer Dienst tabs: Edited March 7, 2008 by Laurence Strong
Laurence Strong Posted March 7, 2008 Author Posted March 7, 2008 The Gehobener/ Mittlerer Dienst tabs were made of silver Bullion thread on a light grey background with a green stripe down the middle. These tabs replace the original beamte style with the grey nebenfarbe
Laurence Strong Posted March 7, 2008 Author Posted March 7, 2008 Those for the Einfacher Dienst however are much harder to find. They were made of grey Bevo material on a light grey background with a dark green stripe down the middle. These were once again also piped in dark green around the outside edge. I lucked out and found a full set. I owe many thanks to Don Doering for helping me purchase these, I also owe thanks to 2 members of this forum - Chris and Paul - who would have helped had circumstances been different.
dond Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 Glad to see they made it there safe and sound. Glad to help.
