    Being an inquisitive sorta of guy I decided to look under the padding in the box. You never know what you might find. Now, this is it. Tell me this is a lock of hair from the owner?

    Considering the length, more likely from his wife/girlfriend/female relative.

    hmmmmm... the goat scenario must bring back members to old soldiers? I think its is probably sheep hair, sent as aphrodisiacs to commonwealth soldiers as part of their X-Mas package... the "FA" actually means "From Australia"

    That is my thoughts exactly. The reverse set up is unique too. Looks more suitable for a funeral pillow than for wear on a uniform.
